Walking and standing in place requires a conglomerate of skills besides musculoskeletal processes. Movement with purpose, or motor
praxis, is a combination of cognitive planning and muscle strength. The brain is constantly telling the body what to do and how to
move depending on environmental demands. Furthermore, sensation (touch, pain, spatial awareness, vestibular, visual, taste, etc.)
communicates with the environment and sends messages to the brain to tell the body to maintain or change course. The Cognitive
React Trainer works on all these skills through a single program rather than each body process in isolation.
